‪#‎PaulAstengo‬, Senior Executive with ‪#‎GibraltarFinance‬ will lead the‪#‎Gibraltar‬ delegation attending The Family Wealth Management & Structuring Conference, in London

Gibraltar Finance will once again be jurisdictional sponsor at the event to be held on the 21st April & 22nd 2015 at the ‪#‎LiberalClub‬, One Whitehall Place, London. Sponsorship will allow Gibraltar to participate, exhibit and present.

The 2014 event, which received excellent private sector support, proved very effective in delivering new business opportunities. It also offered the chance of meeting with a number of influential family office Principals, CEO’s, CFO’s, CIO’s and their advisers allowing each delegate to present the case for their firm’s services.

The two-day event first held in 2002 focuses on how professional intermediaries can best serve the private client and is expected to attract in excess of 100 attendees. The structure of the event includes keynote presentations, panel discussions, case studies and, new for this year, round table presentations by sponsors. Following from last year’s presentation, “Location, Location, Location” Paul will further develop the conviction that Gibraltar is the onshore European finance centre of choice for the private client.

Details on the conference organisers can be found online via the following link:

Anyone wishing to attend the conference along with the Gibraltar delegation should contact Gibraltar Finance as soon as possible via joanne.martinez@financecentre.gov.gi and will be entitled to obtain a 40% discount on the normal delegate cost.

We really hope you enjoyed the 2014 conference in its 7th year, addressed the key financial planning requirements for family business principals and family office executives as well as covering how professional intermediaries can best serve their private clients.
Anti-money laundering, KYC, Government Information Exchange Agreements, EU Savings Directives, Dodd-Frank, FATCA, Entity Ownership Registers and the increasing trend for OECD governmental fiscal co-operation have all contributed to the changing disclosure landscape that will greatly impact the future structuring, management and disclosure of international private wealth. Public sentiment, together with governments needing to raise money in the face of austerity programmes and public protests will also add to a changing environment for your estate planning and wealth management as the world enters a new era of heightened international transparency.
Through a mixture of keynote presentations, panel discussions and case studies the conference provide expert opinion together with both strategic and practical insights.
