BLOCKCHAIN IN FINANCIAL SERVICES 2021, Zurich

This is an “in person” event, organised by Finanz und Wurtschaft Forum. The event may also be broadcast virtually and will be held mostly in the German language. The keynote speech is on “Global Financial Services Development Delivered Through Disruptive Technology and will cover a number of areas of interest including blockchain, insurtech and Gibraltar’s strong proposition in these emerging areas of technology in financial services.

The Finance and Business Forum “Blockchain in Financial Services 2021” is aimed at decision-makers in the banking and insurance industry, regulatory authorities and start-ups. In addition, visionary lateral thinkers and all interested actors from science and politics are invited to network and exchange their experiences with experts.

Start-ups, established companies, states and central banks are testing and developing new applications with the blockchain - especially outside of currencies. At the same time, companies and consumers have become more sensitive to not being dependent on a central authority due to increasing digitalization. Distributed systems based on the blockchain can be an answer to this.
