Gibraltar Finance to sponsor and exhibit at the SIFMA Insurance-& Risk-Linked Securities Conference (IRLS 2017) in Miami on 26-28 February 2017

Gibraltar Finance will be sponsoring and exhibiting at IRLS 2017 in Miami on 26-28 February 2017.

The Insurance Linked Securities (ILS) market continued to grow in 2016 with ILS assets under management increasing by US$5 billion. The product form also continued to diversify and interestingly from a Gibraltar perspective, Generali sponsored the first ILS transaction to cover third party motor liability since 2007. The transaction was finalised at€255 million n late 2016 with strong investor demand.

IRLS 2017 will feature industry experts, sponsors and institutional investors discussing this growing and evolving market place, product design and innovation, and emerging trends with a more extensive programme than in previous years.

In 2016, over 400 participants attended IRLS and this year's event will enable attendees to learn more about the expanding opportunities of the ILS market, risk management strategies, and how regulatory changes and other related factors will affect the industry.
