Albert Isola at PwC Gibraltar Insurance Seminar

Albert Isola, Minister for Digital and Financial Services, HM Government of Gibraltar together with PwC Gibraltar Partner Edgar Lavarello delivered the opening remarks at the PwC Insurance Seminar held on 13 December 2022 in Gibraltar and warmly welcomed guests.

Minister Isola thanked PwC for arranging the event and inviting the excellent expert speakers including @Mohammad Khan, the Head of General Insurance at @PwC UK, together with @Will Mumme-Young and @Sundip Mistry.

The seminar focused on the impact of inflation and problematic supply chains on the motor insurance sector. Also on the agenda was a regulatory update from @Monika Sookhee of the @Gibraltar Financial Services Commission.

Gibraltar shows significant leadership in the insurance sector and, in particular, we celebrate the ongoing success of our UK motor insurance market penetration. Allied to this is the unique reciprocal market access arrangements that we share with the UK through the Gibraltar Authorisation Regime (#GAR).
